Met MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) wil Electronic Arts mee snoepen aan het succes van THQ's UFC 2009: Undisputed. Nu is het makkelijk om EA te gaan lopen bashen over deze titel, maar als free fight liefhebbers geven we de game een kans. Vandaag werd overigens bekend gemaakt dat de MMA ingame sponsering van Gamma-O Gear krijgt.

Gamma Labs has signed an agreement with EA to feature the logo of the Company's signature product, Gamma-O, in EA Sports MMA, illustrating fighters wearing Gamma-O gear while battling the competition in this action-packed sports experience.

"We are thrilled to be a part of one of the biggest MMA video games in history," said Gamma Labs CEO Clifford Morgan. "Ultimate fighters are known for their endurance, energy and strength, so featuring Gamma-O in 'MMA' is a natural fit. We have sponsored MMA fighters and have a long-standing relationship with the best champions in the sport, so it's exciting to showcase this relationship in a fun, interactive way."

This agreement marks the latest agreement Gamma Labs has announced since signing a two-year sponsorship deal with Harrah's Entertainment for the World Series of Poker. In the past five years, Gamma Labs has grown from being a sponsor of local sporting events to sponsoring some of the world's most well known sports teams and brands, including the NFL, Olympics, Major League Baseball and NASCAR.
