Well the day that people have been fearing seems to have finally come, Sony has released another new firmware and this one goes one step more then v4.55 in blocking ODE usage, and instead of just stopping newer SuperSlim consoles, this one blocks usage of ODE devices on all consoles including the original PHAT models.

Also reports coming in saying the swap-disc trick that was discovered as work-around on v4.55 firmware has also been blocked, and that includes both 3k3y and Cobra devices.

Of course it is early, the new Sony firmware has only been just released, and before with v4.55 it took a few weeks to find a work-around solution and even longer to develop the swap-disc trick to stage it is at now, so we sure the developers of 3k3y and Cobra will be hard at work on finding out what changes Sony has done this time around, and looking for other solutions to get things all working again.

In the meantime, it must be stated clearly YOU MUST NOT UPDATE TO V4.60, for whatever reason, because if you do, you will be SCREWED, plain and simple, so just sit back and relax and enjoy your current games and v4.55 setup until more clearer info rolls in.
