Sony ligt de laatste tijd goed onder vuur door dat een hackers groep met de naam Guardians of Peace hun servers hebben gehackt en nu een shitload aan nieuws en films naar buiten brengen. Maar ze dreigde ook met 9/11 achtige aanvallen als de film The Interview (waar in Seth Rogen en James Franco de Noord Koreaanse leider moeten vermoorden) in de bioscopen te zijn zou zijn. Nu heeft Sony dus geen ruggengraat en heeft besloten om de film niet uit te brengen op het witte doek, maar gelijk via Video On Demand (VOD). Pathé Nederland liet vanavond nog weten in het TV programma Shownieuws dat de film hier nog wel een première zal krijgen. Of dit nu ook nog zo is weten we niet.
