The Magicans is nog niet eens toe aan zijn vierde aflevering of er werd gisteren bekend gemaakt dat deze erg frisse en aparte show een tweede seizoen gaat krijgen. Want zoals je weet is magie echt enzo. Maar goed, hier is het persbericht.

Syfy announced today that The Magicians has been renewed for a second season. The fantasy drama, which is adapted from the novel of the same name, has fared well through its first three episodes with an average of 1.7 million viewers (factoring in 3 days of delayed viewing). The series has also seen its younger audience of adults 18-34 grow consecutively over each episode.

The cable network has ordered another 13 episodes of The Magicians for Season 2, matching its first-season total. Look for Season 2 to premiere some time in 2017.
