Het ziet naar uit dat Sony een behoorlijk lek ergens heeft, want afgelopen weekeinde dook er op een online veiling site de onderstaande foto's op van wat lijkt op een Slim versie van de PlayStation 3 die nog niet eens is aangekondigd door Sony. Iets wat deze zaak wat vreemd (lees mij achterdochtig) maakt, aangezien dit 'nieuwe' model wel tijdens de E3, GamesCom of een ander evenement aan het publiek was getoond. Dus dat iemand nu een totaal retail versie van een nieuwe PlayStation 4 in zijn bezit heeft is dus dubieus te noemen. Maar goed, alles kan en misschien is het echt en misschien een grote hoax. We zullen het zien.
The seller provided The Verge with some images of the console, which show off a slimmer version of the PS4, with rounded corners. Pictures of the packaging show that this particular model has a 500 GB hard drive, and it appears to be a European model. Posters at the gaming forum NeoGAF have also provided photos comparing this "slim" model with the original PS4.
Sony is expected to debut a new version of the console on September 7th, codenamed Neo. It's not clear if this is the 4K PS4 version, or it is simply an slim update to the existing model.
