iZombie is nog steeds één van mijn favoriete TV series die gebaseerd is op de gelijknamige comic. Het heeft humor, drama, een leuk verhaal en een cast die er duidelijk zin in heeft. De show zit op dit moment in zijn derde seizoen en er is goed nieuws voor de fans. Want de TV zender CW heeft bekend gemaakt dat ze een vierde seizoen op pakken en hebben we weer een excuus om op Liv te kwijlen.. hmmmm braaaaaains.

The CW announced today that iZombie has been renewed for a fourth season. The comic-adapted drama, from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas, has been considered on-the-bubble for a couple of years now, but has managed to stay in the network's good books for at least another season.

iZombie follows Olivia Moore, an over-achieving medical resident who was turned into a zombie after being bitten by one of the walking dead during a party. Now a zombie herself, Olivia works at a coroner's office as a means to have access to the human brains she now craves. A side effect of eating these brains gives her a portion of its memories, which she uses to help solve the murders of the people she uses to stay alive.

There is no word yet on the number of episodes ordered for Season 4 of iZombie, though it is likely to stay as a mid-season entry in 2017-2018.
