Het eerste seizoen van Preacher volgde het verhaal van de comics redelijk goed en was fookin a en totaal gestoord. Maar het tweede kakte al aardig in en volgde het niet langer de comics meer en het derde was eigenlijk om te huilen, zo slecht was het. Seth Rogen heeft via Twitter laten weten dat het vierde seizoen ook gelijk de final zal zijn en vanaf 4 augustus in de US te zien zal zijn. Persoonlijk skip ik dit seizoen, want ik kan mijn tijd simpelweg beter besteden dan deze troep te kijken.
It was announced today that the upcoming fourth season of Preacher will be its last. Co-creator Seth Rogen broke the news on his Twitter account, with a post that also announced a return date for the comic book-adapted drama's final run.
Based on DC Comics' Vertigo comic book series of the same name by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Preacher follows a conflicted, small-town Texas preacher who is accidentally possessed by a supernatural entity that causes him to develop a highly unconventional power allowing him to command others to do as he says. Joined by his ex-girlfriend and an Irish vagabond, he sets out on a journey to literally find God.
The fourth and final season of Preacher will premiere on Sunday, August 4 on AMC.
