Om Gears of War 3 een lange houdbaarheid te geven verschijnt er met regelmaat nieuwe content voor de game. Zo is er vandaag de Fenix Rising Map Pack verschenen die je niet alleen vijf nieuwe multiplayer maps bied, maar ook een 'Re-Up'. Hier door kunnen de level 100 veteranen hun score resetten (je behoud wel je True Skill rating) en krijgen daar in ruil een nieuw gekleurd embleem en een unieke wapen skin voor terug. Soort van prestige mode zoals we kennen van de Call of Duty Serie, maar dan net even anders.
