Robert Kirkman is de bedenker van The Walkig Dead en Outcast, twee zeer populaire TV shows die op zijn comics zijn gebaseerd. Outcast verteld het verhaal van Kyle Barnes die de Outcast is en demonen bevecht met zijn dominee en een donker verleden heeft. Deze serie is pure horror en verdomd donker, en weet heel erg goed aan de comic trouw te blijven. Nu had de website Collider een interview met Patrick Fugit over zijn rol als Kyle Barnes en wat we kunnen gaan verwachten in het tweede seizoen.

Collider: Was part of the appeal of this the fact that it's so much more psychological and character-based than just straight horror?

PATRICK FUGIT: Yeah, I was not initially interested in the possession genre when I got the material for the project. It was the scenes and how well they were written. The character that came out during those scenes and trying to bring Kyle to life, and then doing those scenes with Phil and watching the Reverend come to life, was definitely my favorite part.
